Announcing Venari Partners’ new CSR strategy for 2023

This year, we are pleased to lend our expertise to give back to our communities and help change lives, with a new initiative planned for each month

At Venari Partners, we are firm believers that companies can, and should, do more to make a positive, enduring impact on the communities in which they operate. By sharing our successes, we can contribute to the wellbeing of our surroundings, and, more broadly, to society as a whole.

When it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we believe in deeds, not words. Helping those less fortunate than ourselves is not just the right thing to do – it is an essential, integral aspect of our business culture and values. Put simply, CSR is, and has always been, woven into the core of how we operate.

Over the past few years, we have been delighted to support a variety of great causes, including raising money for CALM by participating in Yorkshire’s 3-Peak Challenge and Nelson’s Tour de Test Valley, as well as in our yearly Charity Secret Santa campaign which has resulted in more than 25 charities receiving financial support. In 2023, however, we’re going to try a slightly different approach.

So much of our company identity is based around the experiences we offer to our customers and employees alike; a fundamental aspect of our business strategy is to be an enjoyable company to work with and for. Helping people by matching them with the right job is at the heart of what we do, and so we wanted to combine our emphasis on providing great experiences with our dedication to changing people’s lives for the better through employment. To this end, this year and beyond we will commit to one CSR initiative each month that will feature both elements of this approach, making a difference in ways that are consistent with – and relevant to – how our company works.

Each Venari Partners employee will now be officially given the opportunity to take Volunteer Days Off, to be used exclusively to take part in the initiatives we are planning with our charitable partners.

In keeping with our new monthly CSR pledge, this January we are organising donations in-house for Suited & Booted and Dress for Success. These charities help vulnerable, unemployed, and low-income men and women into employment by providing interview clothing and advice. Later in the year, we will organise interview preparation sessions with them, with details to follow. Once again, we are looking forward to using our employment and talent expertise to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

We are especially excited to be planning our biggest CSR campaign to date. Tentatively titled the ‘Venari Partners Adventure’, we will be announcing more details about it next month. For now, all we can say is that Sean Conway – adventurer, author, and the first person to cycle, swim, and run the length of Great Britain – is on board. Stay tuned for further news; we can’t wait to tell you about it!
