Alex joined Venari in November 2024 as an Associate Research Consultant in the Energy Transition & Sustainability team. 

Prior to joining Venari, Alex worked in green energy sector recruitment focused on energy solutions, and energy markets adjacent roles. He holds a BSc and PgDip in Psychology from Glasgow University and Glasgow Caledonian University respectively and has completed further study in Energy Politics and Economics with Sciences Po. 

Alex’ role as a Research Consultant is international in scope, identifying top leadership talent and complex project delivery, while supporting the build of Venari Partner's Energy Transition and Sustainability team. He supports the business development consultants in providing bespoke executive search & advisory solutions to clients within companies within hard to abate industry sectors, as well as PE & VC backed clean & climate tech scale up's.  

Alex is driven by the need for positive change in business surrounding the energy transition and environmental sustainability challenges, stemming from his rural Scottish upbringing and passion for the outdoors and geopolitics. Outside of work he maintains a presence in the Snowsports industry as a Freestyle Skiing Judge and occasionally partakes as the “talent” in snowsports film projects.
