Maja joined Venari Partners as a Research Consultant in May 2025, focusing on the Finance & Transformation practice. In her role, she supports the delivery of senior finance assignments through targeted candidate outreach, in-depth research, and insightful interviewing. She thrives on building strong networks and ensuring clients secure the right leadership talent to drive their businesses forward.

Before joining Venari, Maja spent a year in Switzerland working at a boutique executive search firm, where she operated as a generalist across sectors including luxury goods, FMCG, life sciences, engineering, and financial services. Prior to that, she spent six years in London, beginning her career at a global executive search firm specialising in professional services. Maja later moved to a firm focused on Chief People Officer placements, where she deepened her expertise in candidate engagement and delivery.

Originally from Slovenia, she studied criminal justice with the ambition of becoming a detective: an interest that naturally evolved into a passion for headhunting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, hosting dinners, discovering new wines, cooking, and running in nature. She loves exploring new cultures and places, and often returns to Slovenia to reconnect with family, help harvest grapes in late summer, and pick olives in the autumn.
