2023 Charity Secret Santa for Giving Tuesday

We’ve made it a tradition to organise a charity giveaway – and this year is no different

We can’t believe that Christmas is around the corner already! We love this time of year at Venari Partners – though amid all the seasonal merrymaking, we make a point of taking stock and thinking of others, too.

What it means to us

When it comes to corporate social responsibility (CSR), we believe in deeds – not words. We are passionate about changing people’s lives for the better, whether through finding the right job for them or helping those less fortunate than ourselves. We see it as our duty to make a positive impact on the communities in which we operate; consideration and compassion for others are central facets of our identity as a business.

This year has been particularly eventful from a CSR point of view, as we launched our largest ever charitable campaign: the Venari Partners Challenge. However, we organise other events and fundraisers for good causes throughout the year, and Giving Tuesday is no different.

Over a decade of goodwill

Giving Tuesday, which is marked five days after the Thanksgiving holiday, began over ten years ago with a simple premise: ‘‘a day that encourages people to do good’. From its origins in New York City, Giving Tuesday has spread into a global movement in which participants volunteer, donate money, organise community events, and take part in other activities for the benefit of others.’

Each year, we ask clients and candidates to suggest charities for us to donate to

Once again, we are kicking off our ‘Charity Secret Santa’ campaign on this worldwide day of goodwill. Rather than spending on cards and unsustainable gifts at Christmas, as a business we prefer to give our network the opportunity to nominate a charity for us to donate to instead.

In 2022, we were thrilled to donate to these fantastic causes:

We would be grateful to hear from you with suggestions for the charity you’d like to nominate. Please reach out with the name of your chosen organisation, and a few lines on why you think they are particularly deserving. We’d like to wish you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season, and all the best for the new year!
