Strategy at PepsiCo: Revenue Management Case Study

Pepsico instructed Venari Partners to identify a credible shortlist of experienced strategy professionals for a Senior hire within their Revenue Management team in Barcelona. Their reason for using Venari Partners was based upon previous successful senior hires.

The main challenge for this mandate was to find high calibre individuals who could combine strategic outlook, strong analytical skills, and pragmatic business sense to join a very established Revenue Strategy team.

The successful individual would need a fundamental grounding in Revenue Management / Commercial Strategy, and a real passion for building strategic capability. In addition to this they would need to demonstrate Financial & Commercial Acumen, Project Management experience and the ability to work in an ambiguous environment.

This would prove to be a key hire for Pepsico so it was crucial to identify a profile that had could combine both strategy with delivery and at the same time build out a team.

The chosen candidate; Elias Gerges, possesses a great understanding of strategy, operations and Revenue Management all sitting within the Retail & Consumer space. Elias was a great choice for this highly competitive space and am sure he will thrive within their rotational scheme.
