We’ve been shortlisted for the Better Society Awards!

We’re delighted to announce our nomination in the Major Project of the Year category

At Venari Partners, we believe in deeds, not words, when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Helping those less fortunate than ourselves is not just the right thing to do – put simply, CSR is, and has always been, an essential aspect of our business culture and values.

We are simply thrilled to announce, therefore, that we have been shortlisted in this year’s Better Society Awards! Our largest ever CSR campaign, the Venari Partners Challenge, has been nominated in the Major Project of the Year category, and we are absolutely delighted to receive this recognition.

Having supported many great causes before, we wanted to push our philanthropic efforts further than ever in 2023. We decided that funding and hosting a charity trek for worthy recipients seemed like the best way to make a tangible difference – and, last October, we did just that with the Venari Partners Challenge.

In this, our largest ever CSR campaign, we sent seven deserving individuals – all of whom have battled adversity and were selected via open nominations – trekking through the deserts of Jordan. Fundraising for charity via the adventure of a lifetime, they were led by adventurer extraordinaire Sean Conway and accompanied by representatives from Venari Partners and Joramco, an official partner for the initiative. Flying to Jordan from London, with travel kindly subsidised by WizzAir (another official partner), the group reached the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra after a five-day march through the desert. It was a spectacular end to an unforgettable journey.

With the Venari Partners Challenge, not only did we want to change the participants’ lives for the better, but to underline that professional services companies can, and should, do more to make a positive, enduring impact on the communities in which they operate. We were thrilled to have helped the trekkers raise just over £24,000 for these wonderful causes:

Furthermore, providing this incredible experience for our amazing participants and seeing the positive effect it’s had on their lives beyond the trip’s conclusion has been extremely rewarding.

We are over the moon that our efforts have led to us being shortlisted alongside so many great companies and inspiring causes in this year’s Better Society Awards. We hope to take home the Major Project of the Year prize at the ceremony in May – though the great thing about CSR awards, of course, is that literally everyone’s a winner. Very best of luck to all the organisations nominated – not least those from our network that we are delighted to see named!
