So, here we are – December again, and another year almost over. This is a special time of year and we love it at Venari Partners – not just for the good cheer, but also the seasonal spirit and emphasis on giving back. Specifically, we’re referring to our Charity Secret Santa, held annually on Giving Tuesday.
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is marked five days after the Thanksgiving holiday. The initiative began over a decade ago in New York City with a simple premise: ‘a day that encourages people to do good’. Participants all over the world take the opportunity to volunteer, organise events, and fundraise for noble causes. In other words, it’s a logical time for us to ask our network for inspiration!
The importance of CSR
At Venari Partners, we are passionate about changing people’s lives for the better. Typically, this takes the shape of executive search, placing candidates in the right role in the right company at the right time. However, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and charity initiatives are of singular importance to us, and we believe in the necessity of making a positive impact on the communities in which we operate.
We believe in deeds, not words, which is why we run campaigns such as the Venari Partners Challenge. We were thrilled to bring this life-changing initiative back for another year, giving our amazing participants the chance to experience the stunning Colombian jungle while raising money for causes that truly matter to them. For us, Charity Secret Santa is just one part of a bigger CSR picture.
Festive fundraising
For the past few Christmases, we have been making donations to organisations suggested by our contacts instead of spending unsustainably on cards and gifts. Giving back is at the heart of what we do. Every client relationship is built on trust and shared values, and this initiative is our way of turning that connection into something that makes a real difference.
